Our Mission
Advocating for a national publicly-funded health care system since 1987.
Since 1987, Physicians for a National Health Program has advocated for reform in the U.S. health care system. Our mission is to educate and mobilize physicians, health care workers, and the public in support of a comprehensive, high-quality, non-profit, publicly funded system that serves all residents of the United States.
We believe that access to health care is a human right, and we work to ensure that this vision is realized through grassroots advocacy, public education, and policy engagement at every level of government.
