Dr. Steve Kemble is a Honolulu-based internist and psychiatrist with 35 years practicing in a primary care clinic. He was appointed to the Hawaii Health Authority in 2011, charged with designing a universal healthcare system covering all residents of Hawaii. The HHA was dissolved in 2013 in deference to the Affordable Care Act, but Dr. Kemble has remained active in health policy and now serves on the Boards and Chairs the Policy Committees for both One Payer States and Physicians for a National Health Program.
